My name is Jason Leonard, I have a PhD in Physics from the University of California, San Diego. I provide high-quality tutoring services for High School, Undergraduate, and Graduate Students.
I focus on helping students in their math, physics, and computer science courses. I also help students develop science fair and research projects.
I provide a highly customized curriculum to meet your unique needs. I offer a free consultation where we discuss your needs and how I can tailor tutoring to you. Depending on the course, I appreciate a copy of the course syllabus and homework assignment before we meet. This helps us hit the ground running during our first session. Currently, I only provide lessons on Zoom.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I get excited when students see how their academic studies have real world implications. Schoolwork can often feel abstract and overwhelming. I will help transform your coursework into concrete and manageable concepts. In so doing, I will help propel you towards your life goals.
I have experience tutoring students across a wide range of subjects and life stages, with particular expertise in computer science, computer programming, physics, and math.
While I was a graduate student at UCSD, I tutored both undergraduate and graduate students. I worked in the physics tutorial center and prepared students for the physics departmental exam.
